Well, I wasn't expecting to make a second post so soon, but... how about an art contest?

Better yet, how about a series of art contests?

WLP DA ART CONTEST NOVEMBER 2005:
BETH DORMAN / THE MAGNIFICENT MILKMAID

Draw this character, in either (or both) forms!

Winner receives their choice of:

* One of White Lightning Productions's T-shirts

* A short story, written by myself, starring the character of your choice

* A piece of artwork by myself... but are you really THAT masochistic??

2nd and 3rd place winners get a copy of Bootleg #13.

Entries will be scored points by three judges on the WLP staff based on the following:

TECHNICAL SKILL - 5 points
Was the execution, penciling, inking, coloring, of the work any good?

ORIGINALITY - 5 points
Is it just another cheesecake pose, or did the artist do something creative?

BONUS POINTS (awarded at the discretion of each judge)
1 - Transformation or ripping clothing is involved
1 per page or panel - if multiple images are submitted to tell a story or show a progression (multiple cheesecake pinups don't count)
1 - humor (if it makes the judge laugh)
1 - sexiness (in the judge's opinion)
1 - character (if the judge thinks the entry fits in with the character)

Maximum score before bonus points are added is 30.

HOW TO ENTER: Either email the pic to me or let me know where I can download it to post in this DA gallery. That's all.

***EDIT: Entries will be posted to this DA account. I don't mind at all if you have 'em on your account as well, but you should know this before you send 'em in.***

ALL ARTWORK MUST BE POSTABLE ON DEVIANTART. If the pic gets yanked by DA, it's disqualified.

COPYRIGHTS: Artists retain copyright and final ownership of the art, but WLP gets the right to post the image here and on the WLP website as fan art. The art won't be used for a print book or other commercial use without the artist's permission.
